The CEO and President of Local Government Association of the Northern Territory and Katherine Town Council acknowledged four (4) long term Council staff earlier in the week.
“With a workforce that can be transient and the high turnover we experience from time to time; it is pleasing that we have employees that have worked here all these years. We thank them very much” said Katherine Town Council CEO.
The following staff were recognised for their commitment.
- Ireneo Lalim - 11 Years
- Anthony May - 11 Years
- Stephen Parker - 16 Years
- Christine Lowe - 18 Years
These employees work within the finance, depot and waste management departments of Council.
The Council highly values long-serving employees and their contribution to the organisation and to the town.
