How To Join
Membership is free to residents of the Katherine Region. All you need to provide the library with is proof of current Katherine residential address and photo ID.
Those acceptable include
- Current NT driver’s license showing Katherine address;
- Or photo ID with the following:
- Account from Government Department or Utility eg. PowerWater or telephone bill
- Centrelink, Pension of Health Care Card
- Tenancy Agreement
- RAAF Dependants Card
For non-residents a $60 refundable deposit is required. Identification that includes current residential address. People under 18 years of age require the signature of a parent or legal guardian.
As a part of the Connect NT network, all Katherine Public Library members can use their library card at any library throughout the Territory. It is the convenience of one card but with ten times the resources on offer!
