Ordinary Meetings of Council

Ordinary Meetings of Council are held once a month, on the fourth Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. If there is an upcoming meeting, it will be listed at the bottom of the page. The agenda is available on Thursday before the meeting and can be viewed online (click on the meeting below if available), or a copy can be picked up from the Civic Centre. 

How council meetings work

Questions

The Council holds a public question time at 5:30 pm on the day of the meeting, allowing participants to ask questions of the Councillors in the half hour before the meeting starts. These questions do not have to relate to the meeting agenda.

Questions put to Councillors during the official public question time during the meeting must relate to the items on the meeting agenda. You can submit a question in advance by emailing it to records@ktc.nt.gov.au, by phone at 8972 5500, in person at the Civic Centre, or through the electronic submission form below.
