Residents are advised that the Pound operates by appointment only. Please call the Civic Centre on 08 8972 5500 to make an appointment with a Ranger.

Impounded Dogs

Katherine Town Council Rangers follow strict guidelines for Impounded Dogs. Prior to your dog being released from the pound you will need to ensure it is registered and any associated impounding fees are paid.

Infringements

Depending on the circumstances, Infringements may be issued by registered mail.

Pound Adoptions

The pound often have dogs and puppies available for adoption. Dogs that are in the pound can be purchased at the cost of registration.
