Katherine Waste Management Facility

Domestic and commercial waste can be disposed of at the Waste Management Facility. A weighbridge is installed at the entrance of the facility for the purpose of record keeping. A staff member will be present here during trading hours to assist in this process and to help with any questions. Domestic users are then referred to the transfer station, where they can separate and dispose of their waste. Commercial users may be sent to the tip face to dispose of their waste. Information on the location, opening hours and accepted wastes and listed waste disposal can be found below.

The Katherine Waste Management Facility is located on Lot 5043 Novis Quarry Road, approximately 7 kilometres from the Katherine Post Office along the Victoria Highway, opposite to the Rail Terminal.
