The Katherine Town Council will briefly close the Low Level Bridge between 9 am and 1 pm on Tuesday, 8 August, so the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics (DIPL) can undertake essential maintenance and repairs.
Motorists will not be able to use the bridge while the work is carried out and can detour via Zimin Drive from the Stuart Highway.
Council thanks motorists for their understanding and cooperation while DIPL works to maintain the bridge's safety and integrity.
