Crowds enjoyed double the number of food vendors at this year’s Katherine Food Collective which transformed the CBD carpark into a vibrant outdoor eatery in the dry season.
Almost 6000 tasty meals were served up to Katherine’s families and visitors at the fortnightly event which dished up its final 2023 meal on 27 July.
Katherine Town Council collaborated with Activate Katherine and the NT Government to trial the event in 2022, with its popularity making it a clear crowd favourite in the 2023 events calendar.
This year six events featured food vans delivering options like curries, pulled meats and fried chicken, to name just a few, under festoon lights amid scattered bean bags over 12 weeks.
Now Katherine Town Council needs your input to shape the event for 2024. Council wants to know what you liked and what you’d like to see more of for the next dry season. Have your say through the online survey click here
