One lucky Katherine local could win the trip of a lifetime across the iconic Australian Outback with Australian Test Cricket Legend and McGrath Foundation Co-Founder and President, Glenn McGrath, with the announcement of the first ever Pink Raffle in support of the McGrath Foundation.
Katherine is participating in the McGrath Foundation’s annual Pink Up Your Town initiative for the first time and residents also have the chance to enter the McGrath Foundation’s first ever Pink Raffle, to help provide a virtual boost to community fundraising efforts.
Buying a $25 raffle ticket this October, puts Katherine locals in the running to win the incredible Outback by Air experience with Glenn McGrath. All funds raised help provide the support of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse to families experiencing breast cancer – for free.
“Pink Up Your Town is such an important initiative to get behind as sadly we all know someone who has been affected by cancer and it is estimated that breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia” said Mayor Clark.
Tickets are available until 30 November 2021 with the “money can’t buy” grand prize of a five-day Outback by Air trip for two, alongside Glenn McGrath to be drawn on 1 December 2021. The Pink Raffle prize is open to anyone aged over 18. Click here to purchase your tickets.
