As our Municipal Worker, we are seeking a motivated and community-minded individual too join our Works and Services team as a Municipal Worker. This is a practical, hands-on role that offers meaningful work and the opportunity to make a real impact in your community. You'll be part of a supportive and friendly team environment. You will be Reporting directly to the Works and Services Coordinator; this role is responsible for the maintenance and beautification of public spaces across the Katherine Municipality. Duties include general repairs and upkeep of ovals, parks, gardens, cemeteries, footpaths, roads, pavements, irrigation systems, buildings, and minor equipment.

This is a casual position with a starting hourly rate of $31.53+ 25% Casual Loading. Employees also benefit from Council providing uniform, and ongoing training and development opportunities.
