Nothing says Christmas like lighting up the Christmas tree and sitting down to a good old-fashioned Christmas movie.
Katherine Town Council is flicking the switch on the town’s festive spirit with its annual Christmas tree lighting and a free outdoor movie, The Grinch, on the big screen in Katherine Town Square at 6.30 pm on Saturday, 11 November.
The Meeting Place will be open to buy dinner and drinks and popcorn will be given out free of charge.
Bring along your camp chair and pre-order your meal to avoid the pre-movie rush.
