Katherine Town Council, in collaboration with K-Town Markets, is excited to host Doggy Day 2025—a free, family-friendly community event celebrating our four-legged best mates.
The event will take place on Sunday, 27 July 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Katherine Sports Grounds. The K-Town Markets has partnered with the event and stalls will be set up in the Pavilion car park.
Doggy Day 2025 will feature a range of pet-focused activities and attractions, including dog competitions and games, a free community BBQ, market stalls featuring local pet businesses, food vendors, and community services, as well as special offers on dog registrations.
The event aims to promote responsible pet ownership while providing a fun and engaging morning for families, pet lovers, and the broader community. It also offers an opportunity to connect with local dog-related businesses and services, and perhaps even arrange some new playdates for Fido. All activities are free and open to the public.
