myKatherine Voucher Scheme to go ahead

Katherine Town Council has eagerly accepted the myKatherine voucher scheme at the October Ordinary Meeting of Council. The program is scheduled to launch mid-November with the Northern Territory Government and Council contributing a combined $90,000 to assist local businesses in the Katherine Municipality.

 

The program follows the success of myDarwin and has been developed in response to COVID-19 to assist those businesses' who were hit hard by the pandemic. MyKatherine is free for both businesses and customers.

 

“Katherine Town Council has contributed $20,000 to the program, to secure a $70,000 funding bonus from the Northern Territory Government. We hope businesses and the community jump on this initiative” said Deputy Mayor Gazey.
