Changes to kerbside collection service – Christmas Day & New Year’s Day
Katherine Town Council wishes to advise there will be changes to kerbside collection services due to the Christmas Day and New Year’s Day public holidays.
Kerbside collections scheduled for Friday 25 December 2020 will be rescheduled to Thursday 24 December 2020.
Kerbside collection schedule for Friday 1 January 2020 will be reschedule to Thursday 31 December 2020.
Residents are advised to put their bins out the night before collection.
The schedule changes affect the following areas:
• Uralla Road
• Byers / Collins / Cragborn Road Area
• Quarry / Lansdown / Niceforo Road Area
• Stuart Highway (South)
The Katherine Waste Management Facility will be closed Christmas Day with operating hours returning to normal on Saturday 26 December 2020.
Residential waste is free of charge (excluding identified items such as gassed whitegoods, tyres and restricted waste).
