Clean Up Katherine Campaign!

This year, Katherine Town Council is shifting the annual Clean Up Australia Day event online, using the popular Snap, Send, Solve App to host the cleanup, with locals invited to clean up whenever they like, wherever they choose, from the 1st to the 31st of March 2024 🌱
As an incentive for those who participate, we will swap a picture of you and the rubbish you have collected for either a $20 local cafe voucher or a movie pass to Katherine Cinema 3, including small popcorn and drink (T&C apply - 1 bag of rubbish needs to be collected per person, and 1 voucher per person, for the entirety of incentive period).
Follow these steps to get involved and help keep Katherine Beautiful!
- Collect bags and gloves from the Civic Centre (24 Stuart Highway).
- Download the Snap, Send and Solve App.
- Collect rubbish in any Katherine location of your choosing.
- Snap a picture of you and the rubbished you have collected.
- Drop off your rubbish for free at the Waste Management Facility (WMF) or if you collect rubbish throughout town (CBD) or along the Riverbank Corridor, snap where it is located, and our team will collect it and take to the WMF for you.
- A member of the team will contact you to collect your voucher! 💸
