Christmas Lights Competition 2026
Sunday 1st November 2026 to Monday 14th December 2026
Christmas Lights Competition 2026 is now open
Katherine Town Council invites residents to enter this year's Christmas Lights Competition.
Create your most dazzling display for a chance to win $500 for first place, $300 for second or $200 for third. A panel of elected members will judge entries on overall appeal, lighting and creative flair.
Living on a rural block? Festoon your front gate or property entrance. You don't need to decorate your entire front yard to be in the running.
Registrations close Monday 14 December. Winners will be announced on Tuesday 22 December.
