Join us in celebrating the official gazettal date marking 100 years of Katherine.
The Centenary Territory Day 2026 will be a family and community evening event celebrating 100 years of the vibrant history, rich culture, and diverse community of Katherine. This memorable occasion will bring together residents, local leaders, community groups, and special guests to commemorate the town's remarkable journey from its early beginnings to the thriving regional hub it is today.

Jem Cassar-Daley
One of Australia's most exciting emerging indie-pop artists, known for her powerful songwriting and captivating performances.
Dylan Wright
The 2024 Australian Idol winner, bringing his incredible voice and crowd-favourite hits Katherine.
Tom Curtain
Katherine's own award-winning entertainer, bringing authentic Territory storytelling, music and energy to the stage.
There will also be food stalls, kids entertainment and of course fireworks!
Centenary Bar
The Centenary Bar will feature stories from Katherine over the years with a live auction of the KC100 number plates hosted by Ben Coutts.
As the Centenary Bar is a licensed area, liquor licence rules apply (anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/carer at all times). Children under 12 can enter for free with a parent/guardian, however children 12 years or over will need to purchase a ticket.
