Councillor Toni Coutts was elected to the 13th Katherine Town Council in 2025. A long-term Katherine resident, Toni brings a strong community focus and a genuine passion for making the town cleaner, greener, and more liveable.
Her vision for the next four years is to see Katherine flourish through more trees, shade, seating, murals, and public art—creating inviting spaces that reflect local pride. Toni is also committed to building a strong partnership between Council and government to lift the standard of maintenance and presentation across the main street and CBD.
Toni believes good governance starts with a genuine connection. She is dedicated to ensuring Council remains engaged with residents and values open dialogue through community forums and meetings. Toni looks forward to working with her fellow councillors and hearing from locals as together they shape a brighter, more welcoming Katherine.
