Barb Mason is an experienced People and Culture leader with over 20 years’ experience across local government, state government, rural and private sectors. She recently completed a Bachelor of Organisational Leadership, strengthening her expertise in strategic leadership, workforce management and organisational performance.
Barb has extensive experience working in Queensland local government, partnering with executive leaders, elected representatives and operational teams to support governance, workforce planning and organisational culture. She is known for her collaborative leadership style and her ability to build positive workplace cultures while supporting organisational change and workforce capability.
In her previous role as Business Administration and Innovation Manager, Barb oversaw finance, operations, employee relations and governance functions, implementing systems and technologies that improved efficiency, compliance and operational performance.
She also brings strong capabilities in financial management, governance, compliance, and work health and safety, contributing to improved processes, risk management, and organisational outcomes.
