Katherine fishos welcomed news of Knotts Crossing and the Katherine boat ramp reopening today, providing convenient access to the Katherine River.
Receding floodwaters have given Katherine Town Council access to repair the annual wet season parking area damage, which is now levelled, resurfaced and ready to go.
As weather permits, Council will schedule more improvement works over the next two months. Council reminds locals and visitors to be croc wise as they head back to enjoy their fishing trips.
