Citizen of the Year Awards & Citizenship Ceremony

The morning includes the Citizen of the Year Awards which has three categories (Citizen, Young Citizen and Community Event of the Year) the purpose of these awards are to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding people we have in our community, who make a real difference.

This special occasion also marks a significant milestone in the lives of those who we welcome as our newest Australian Citizens.

Following that, there will be an inspiring key note message from an Australia Day Ambassador, a shared Multicultural fest, cake cutting and the event will conclude with a jet fly over by RAAF Base Tindal (12:30pm).

This event is a free, and all are welcome.
