Katherine’s annual Come and Try Sports Expo is the perfect opportunity for people of any age and ability to find their ideal sport.
Katherine Town Council will host the expo at the Y from 9 am—12 pm, Saturday 16th of March.
Sports on display include football, AFL, golf, BMX, taekwondo, cricket, table tennis, speedway, girl guides and rugby.
Taking the ‘try’ to a new level, there will be free community sessions throughout the morning where visitors can get hands-on experience in:
•Yoga: 9–9:45am
•Zumba: 10–10:45am
•Muay Thai (children) 11–11:30am
•Muay Thai (adults) 11:30–12pm
Zaki Zaki Café will refuel energy reserves with coffee and sweet treats.
