The Low Level Bridge has reopened to traffic after closing in late December 2021 following heavy rain and local flooding.
With clear weather predicted for the next couple of weeks, the bridge has reopened to cars, but the pedestrian walkway has been damaged and will remain closed until the end of the wet season.
Katherine Town Council asks motorists using the Low Level to drive with care and observe speed limits and cautionary signage.
