 The local government election is fast approaching.

 

To assist the community with the elections, Katherine Town Council has partnered with Local Government Association Northern Territory (LGANT) and Northern Territory Electoral Commission (NTEC) to host an information session on Tuesday 13 July 2021, 5pm at the Civic Centre. Nominations for both Mayor and Councillors open Friday 16 July 2021. Please see the timetable below for all the important dates relating to the election.

Council would like to remind residents that voting is compulsory for all residents aged 18 and over and fines may apply for not voting. Check your enrolment here or click here to enrol to vote or change your address.
