Katherine Town Council Plans for the Future

Published on Tuesday, 15 June 2021 at 3:30:02 PM

Katherine Town Council plans to develop a 5-year strategic plan and to seek an experienced consultant to undertake this project.

The May ordinary meeting heard Elected Members discuss the need for a community-based plan for Katherine over the next 5 years and is currently advertising for a consultant.

The methodology for the development of this plan must include stakeholder and community engagement. Interested appropriate skilled consultants should contact Council for the brief.

Submissions may be submitted to the Chief Executive Officer, Katherine Town Council by close of business on the 30th of June 2021, and clearly indicate the cost, methodology and duration of completion.

Be on the look-out for workshops involving community and stakeholder contributions towards the final product. Council would like to remind the community that the document is the community’s plan for the town and encourages members to participate. Sufficient notice will be given to ensure your involvement.
