Calling all Katherine pooch lovers, Doggy Day is around the corner!
Come down to Lindsay Street Complex on Sunday 12 July 2020 from 9am – 12pm for a fun-filled day spent with your furry friends.
There is plenty of fun scheduled for the day! Pop down and talk with the local vets, Council rangers or participate in the following competitions;
- Smallest dog
- Biggest dog
- Best dressed dog
- Best human bark (can you bark like a dog?)
- Doppelganger (has your dog been compared to you before?)
- Best trick
- Dish licker derby (fastest eater)
- Agility course
Drag out that cute costume your dog hates, teach your dog a new trick, practice your barking skills or put your pooch through its agility paces because there are great prizes to be won!
Do you have the funniest dog?
In the lead up to Doggy Day, Council is running the Funniest Dog Competition. Submit the funniest video of your dog/s and you could win a lifetime registration with Katherine Town Council and a doggy goodie bag. Submit through Councils website before Wednesday 8 July.
Council will be offering the opportunity for community members to register their dog/s at the event, EFPOST only OR lookout for your renewal notice in the mail.
