International Day of People with Disability Awards

Around the world people take part in International Day of People with Disability. It is a day to celebrate the achievements of people with disability and promote awareness, understanding and acceptance within the community. Lets ignite positive changes, create a more inclusive community and celebrate this special day as 4.4 million Australians live with a disability.

There are three (3) nomination categories, Outstanding Person with a Disability, Outstanding Service Provider and Outstanding Person or Teacher.

The awards  will be presented on Thursday 17 February 2022 from 9:30am at Godinymayin Yijard, Rivers, Arts & Culture Centre. 

Please be advised that all those in attendance will need to show proof of vaccination, check in and wear a mask when unable to social distance from on another.
