Brought to you by NT Farmers Association and Rural Business Support, and supported by funding from the NT government, the workshops are tailored specifically for businesses in the agricultural industries.
Free workshops are planned to be held in Darwin, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs and will include:

A series of four highly engaging and interactive workshops will equip you with the essential skills to understand and take charge of your finances. This course will be valuable whether you are starting your business journey or you’ve been in business for a while and want to enhance your business finance knowledge.
The workshops will be held over a 3 month period, 4 – 5 weeks apart, in the following format:
Workshop 1 - face to face in a group setting in one of four locations across the Territory.
Workshop 2-4 – Group workshops, online via Zoom
The workshops will be followed by a free in-person session (face to face or on-line) with a Rural Business Support Financial Analyst, who will help you take the first steps to applying what you have learned to the specific financial issues and opportunities currently facing your business.
Rural Business Support are specialists in providing business education and financial counselling to the agricultural industry. They have over 3 decades of experience in successfully supporting farmers to overcome financial challenges. RBS operate in the Territory and understand the conditions faced by the industry.
NT Farmers Association will provide specialist information about how your business can plan and respond to biosecurity and workforce challenges. Staff will also deliver an overview of the latest research and trends shaping the NT industry and how it will affect you.
