Katherine Town Council is seeking Expressions of Interest for the lease of the Katherine Hot Springs Park Area, located at the Katherine Hot Springs, 78 Riverbank Drive, Katherine NT.

The leasing opportunity is ideally located at the Katherine Hot Springs Top Park, in close proximity to access roads, car parking, a primary school and the highly popular Hot Springs tourism attraction.

Lease Particulars

The lettable area is zoned Organised Recreation (OR) with Development Approval for the provision of up to two (2) demountable shops to be located within the lot (referred to lettable area). The demountable shop/s must be removed from the site each year between January 1st and March 30th.

The successful tenant will be in compliance with Katherine Town Council’s Sustainable Functions & Facilities Policy.

 

Evaluation Criteria & Process

The proposed annual rental amount, an overview of the respondent’s capacity along with a statement of proposed use must be submitted to Council to form the assessment. The proposed rental payment will be assessed together with the qualitative criteria to determine the most advantageous outcome to Katherine Town Council.

Weightings

  1. Provide Evidence of Capacity to undertake operations 20%
  2. Outline the proposed use and nature of services 20%
  3. Indicative lease price 60%

 

The final decision will be decided by Council and not negotiable. Council may choose to negotiate with any (or non) of the respondents.

Submissions will be assessed against the Evaluation Criteria using the information provided in your submission.

Submission will be checked for completeness and compliance. Submissions that do not contain all information requested may be excluded from further evaluation.

All respondents will be notified in writing of the results of their submission.
