Katherine's Tidy Street Competition 2021

Purpose

To tidy your immediate street verge, frontage and walkway area and help keep Katherine/ Australia Beautiful.

Participation will help to beautify local streets, show pride in your local neighbourhood and build a strong sense of community connectedness.

Categories
Residential	Rural
Properties must be adjoining or adjacent properties on the same street	One (1) property per entry

Minimum five (5) and maximum 20 houses per entry
Prizes
1st prize: $2,000 & Signage acknowledging them as the winners of the Tidiest Street Competition	1st prize: $200 & Signage acknowledging them as winners of the Tidiest Rural Property
2nd prize - $1,000 (to be divided equally across registered participants)	2nd prize - $100
Judging
Judging will take place between 1 July - 15 July 2021
Judges will be assessing verges/frontage on the following
Appearance: All approaches are clean, overall tidy appearance, effort in beautification etc.	Appearance: All approaches are clean, overall tidy appearance, weed control, effort in bell maintained, clean etc.
Tree Planting, vegetation, neatly maintained lawns etc.

Forms must be submitted before 30 June 2021.
Forms should be submitted through the Katherine Town Council website OR emailed to contactus@ktc.nt.gov.au along with their before photos.
Forms submitted to enter will receive conformation within five (5) working days of their eligibility into the competition
