Katherine Sportsgrounds Lights Fixed
The Oval Two (2) Katherine Sportsground lights are officially back up and running after experiencing damage from a cockatoo infestation.
Since identifying the Cockatoo issue, Council has installed a number of measures to reduce the likelihood of such incidents occurring again. This includes the installation of bird scarers as well as a new and improved lighting fixture with non-exposed cabling.
Katherine Town Council thanks and appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation whilst the repairs occurred.
