“No matter where you go in Australia, (or the world in fact), there is always the presence of birds. They are wonderfully diverse and have adapted to all types of environment. Sometimes they are amusing, interesting, beautiful to watch or even annoying but they are mostly captivating. Katherine is in the heart of Australia's Savanna Woodlands which is a literal HOTSPOT for birds and you can’t help but be intrigued by the many species which have adapted to live here” Mick Jerram says.
If you haven’t signed up this fantastic event, we highly recommend you do as spots are limited. For more details on the full program about the Katherine Bird festival including timetables and other events information, visit our website visitkatherine.com.au/events or call 08 8972 2650.
