Council Meetings

The Mayor, Alderman and Staff of the Katherine Town Council invite you to attend the Ordinary Council Meetings and Open Forums.

The Ordinary Council Meetings are held monthly, on the fourth Tuesday at 6:00 pm. Members of the community are given an opportunity to ask any questions.

An Open Forum is conducted at 5:30pm prior to the Ordinary Council Meeting to provide the public with an opportunity to meet with the Council, to ask questions and discuss issues of concern informally.

Copies of the Minutes and Agendas are available on the links below. Hard copies are also available at the Civic Centre front desk on the day prior to the meeting.

Community Meetings

• Katherine East Community Meeting All residents of Katherine East are encouraged to attend these community meetings held on the second Wednesday of every second month at Katherine High School, Grevillea Road 7.00 pm. Contact Deborah Gillard 8972 5500
• Main Street Meeting All those interested in the management of the Main Street and CBD are welcome to attend these meetings held the first Thursday of each Month in the Chambers at the Civic Centre, Stuart Highway 5:30 pm. Contact Deborah Gillard 8972 5500
