Council Meetings

The Mayor, Alderman and Staff of the Katherine Town Council invite you to attend the Ordinary Council Meetings and Open Forums.
The Ordinary Council Meetings are held monthly, on the fourth Tuesday at 6:00 pm. Members of the community are given an opportunity to ask any questions.
An Open Forum is conducted at 5:30pm prior to the Ordinary Council Meeting to provide the public with an opportunity to meet with the Council, to ask questions and discuss issues of concern informally.

Community Meetings

Katherine Town Council holds Community Meetings on an as required basis. Meetings are held for Katherine East, Katherine South, Katherine North and Rural residents including Edith Farms. Council has also established a Main Street Committee Group to consider issues associated with the Central Business District. For details contact Deborah Gillard 8972 5500.
