Peter & Kathleen Short Craft Acquisition Award this is an acquisition award of $2,000. The winning artist will receive a cash prize of $2,000 The winning work will become the property of the Katherine Community held in trust by the Katherine Town Council.

Peoples Choice Award this Award is in recognition of the public's opinion and is chosen by the public. The winning peice remains the property of the artist and will receive a $100.

Youth Prize This section is for emerging young artist's and is open to residents of the Katherine Region. Winning works remain the property of the artist. The winning entries will receive a $100 cheque to spend at a Katherine Retail Shop as well as a free workshop of choice including materials, kindly sponsored by Territory Craft Katherine. Works will be judged in the following categories: 13 -14 years, 15 - 16 years & 17 - 18 years.

Come and join in the Grand opening of the 2007 Flying Fox Festival with this wonderful evening of art & entertainment. The evening starts at 6pm with live entertaiment, nibbles and bar/drinks on sale, winners will been announced after 7pm in the Gallery. The exhibition will be open to the public for general viewing from Mon - Fri from 8am - 3pm, Sat & Sun 10am-2pm, exhibition finishes Friday 31st August. ALL WELCOME!
